FAQ

Who is Twinkle Girl in Mega Man: Dual Override?
Capcom describes her as an apprentice entertainer robot whose wish to headline the main stage spirals out of control, with a fireworks motif. Games Press lists her among eight new Robot Masters.
How many areas does the Twinkle Girl stage have in demos?
PlayStation Blog’s Phil Hornshaw (2026-08-26) and IGN Southeast Asia’s Justin Koreis (2026-09-19) both describe three areas of rising difficulty in a world’s-fair-style expo setting.
What attacks did reporters see from Twinkle Girl?
Hands-on articles cite firework-themed volleys, a second phase with heavier flame patterns (PlayStation Blog), and powered-up fireworks plus ground fire bursts (IGN Southeast Asia). Capcom published no damage or weakness table.
How do you beat Twinkle Girl?
No verified strategy exists yet. Capcom published no weakness, HP, or damage data. Hands-on reports describe a three-area stage that ends in a two-phase fight, with firework volleys and heavier flame patterns in the second phase.
Is Twinkle Girl’s weakness known?
No. Neither Capcom nor any of the hands-on previews this wiki checked lists a weakness or weapon counter.
Could Proto Man fight Twinkle Girl in the demo?
The Gamescom 2026 build was Mega Man only. IGN Southeast Asia reported that a later Tokyo Game Show 2026 build let them play Proto Man through the full Twinkle Girl stage.

This page records what trade-show demos showed for Twinkle Girl in Mega Man: Dual Override. It is not a retail strategy guide: Capcom and the cited outlets published no weakness, HP, or damage numbers. Official character background sits below; combat detail is labeled hands-on and tied to Gamescom 2026 or TGS 2026 builds. For other confirmed masters, see Robot Masters list. Booth dates and build notes are on demo and events.

Hands-on

Who is Twinkle Girl?

Capcom’s official site lists Twinkle Girl as an apprentice entertainer robot whose ambition to perform on the main stage goes out of control, with a fireworks theme. The Games Press trailer release (2026-08-25) calls her one of eight new Robot Masters.

Capcom’s story summary is set at a Robot Exhibition where robots run out of control. Director Shinya Ikuta told CGMagazine (2026-09-04) the stage leans on fireworks and electronic signage. GosuGamers (circa September 2026) quotes Capcom on her role as the expo’s entertainer. None of the sources checked explains the “Girl” in her name.

What is the Twinkle Girl stage like in the demo?

Both PlayStation Blog (2026-08-26) and IGN Southeast Asia (2026-09-19) describe a world’s-fair / exposition look spread across three areas that ramp difficulty before the Twinkle Girl boss fight.

Area 1

IGN Southeast Asia’s Justin Koreis (2026-09-19) names a mid-boss “Big Press Don.” That name is media wording, not a Capcom confirmation. He reports the machine jumps to press downward, fires a fist from its chest, and that players could dodge with the slide in the TGS-era build.

Area 2

The same IGN piece describes a mid-boss that resembles Astro Man visually. That is an IGN comparison, not an official Robot Master name or a statement that the area is Astro Man’s stage. Capcom has not assigned that encounter a public name.

Controls reported from the Gamescom build, including that demo’s checkpoint-based structure, are on controls and difficulty.

What attacks does Twinkle Girl use?

Reporting below is hands-on only. Capcom did not publish a move list.

How do you beat Twinkle Girl?

There is no verified strategy yet. Capcom has published no weakness, HP, or damage data, so the hands-on reports above are the only combat detail. What reporters actually said is limited to this:

  • The fight ends a three-area stage, and the boss has two phases; the second is more flame-heavy (PlayStation Blog).
  • Reporters saw firework-style volleys, a powered-up firework salvo, and ground fire eruptions (IGN Southeast Asia).
  • The only dodge advice in print is about the Area 1 mid-boss, not Twinkle Girl: IGN says the slide worked against it in the TGS-era build.

Treat any boss-beating guide published before release as a guess. We will add patterns here only when Capcom or a named outlet describes them.

How the two heroes differ, and IGN’s report that the choice is locked in for a run, are covered on Proto Man vs Mega Man. Whether boss patterns change by hero in the final game is not announced.
